whump, whump, whump sound

I couldn't turn up anything in the search function under the word "whump" so I'm asking for a confirmation of my "shadetree" mechanic diagnosis. When I coast downhill, especially a sweeping right hand turn, I hear a whump, whump, whump sound. I've ruled out a CD player with huge base speakers because I don't have a CD player with huge base speakers. I thought it might be the rotors (they are warped - just haven't put the new ones on yet) but when I lightly tap the brake pedal the sound doesn't seem to change. The sound seems to be coming from the R. front. BTW I have 196,000 miles on the clock so I'm thinking wheel bearings.

Hey, if you want to do the wheel bearing change yourself, I have a write up for a 94 SE 5 speed VE.
Email me at swallace@sc.rr.com if you want it.
