Anyone know which amber fog H3's would have the brightest yellow-look (similar to the Lexus' fog lights)?

I think those would look tight on my black max, but I don't want the dull amber fogs, I'd like the really bright yellow ones.

i really dislike the factory fog lights. they only lite up the road a little bit. my bros 3rd gen max's fog lights make a HUGE difference compared to a 5th gen.

Hella yellowstars

I had Hella yellowstars in my 4th gen. They were the best light for the buck. Only used them during the rain/fog.

Will these same bulbs fit my 5th gen. I cant find a size
in my owners manual for the bulbs.

Thanks

PIAA or Hella

I have the PIAA Ion Crystals, which have a light (almost pastel) yellow appearance. I haven't seem them, but the Hella Yellow Stars are the other option.

Re: PIAA or Hella

I have a set of Hella Yellowstars and am pretty disappointed. Not very yellow at all. Defintely not like the Lexus and QX4. Tried to call around Infiniti dealers to get the bulb, but I couldn't seem to manage to talk to anyone that was not a complete idiot. They had no clue what I was talking about.

If anyone finds anything, let's hear it!

i think the problem is that on the QX4 the glass is painted yellow and on the Lexus I think the reflective surface in the fogs is yellow... im not sure but i think thats it... they use regular bulbs...

The Problem is the glass itself. The glass on our fogs is very thick. The new QX4 uses a much clearer glass, kind of like our headlights as an outer lens, and then there is a separate but similarly clear orange/amber lens in front of the bulb. I'm not sure of how to go about getting this look, but Maybe one of you guys could figure it out
