Y pipe cattman vs stillen vs warpspeed (any new thoughts?)

just want to get the feelers out. in the past year much has happened with these companies. So do you still have the same opinion regarding their Y pipes

Warspeed = nice guys, good product, never respond to emails or answer phone, variable estimated delivery time, good price with good selection.

Cattman = huge supporter of Maximas, nice people, infamous flex section problem, price pretty high but offering a deal

Stillen = Nice looking, Open House Maxima day with free food, High price, stuck up customer service.

I have to be honest and say that it seems like this past year Stillen has managed to produce and distribute a Y pipe without incident. Can you infer they have a better product.
what do you think??? I'm not trying to talk cr@p, just want to know if you agree or disagree

What about Budget? Their new mandrel bent y-pipe should be at least as good as Stillen's y-pipe and at a fraction of the cost. Quality isn't lacking as far as my research has led me to believe.

95maximase, Obviously you have not called us in the past several months. Lynne, (sister and partner) has been answering phones for several months now 8 am to 5 pm CST. We do put on the answering machine occasionally but that is rare.Lynne can handle most questions as she has sold many y-pipes and exhaust set ups and talks to us daily. With the addition of several welders we are not far behind at all, in fact ship most pipes with in a week, still slightly behind on the TIG welded version, but catching up.As far as e-mails go, Dallas is always behind, if I could just get him to work more than 18 hours a day he could catch up with them. Please do not hesitate to write me at truaxdan@mn.astound.net for questions, I am not the fabrication KING like Dallas, but can answer most questions. Your best bet is to call during office hours because Lynne usually knows whose pipe shipped out when.
New stuff out soon. Please don't call Dallas yet, he was working on the 2002 Y-pipe, b-pipe, and several other exhaust twists yesterday and today. All he will let me say is that the Maxima boys are going to have some new options, and I don't mean just the 2002 owners.Stuff not offered before.

Thanks for all your interest and support.

I have called WSP three times now, and each time I have gotten someone to pick up within three rings. Friendly lady answered, and even though I haven't bought anything new from them, I believe they have good customer service.

I was installing a used warpspeed y pipe a few weeks ago and ran into a problem. I couldn't figure out how to put the new gaskets on the pipe. I called Warpspeed. The very nice lady that answered took my name and number and said someone would call me back.

Not even 15 minutes later, my phone rang. Dallas himself instructed me on how to remove the old gaskets and complete the installation. Very friendly, patient, and courteous.

That is all.

Budget Pipes Rock

If you like throwing money away be my guest. If you want a great realiable pipe that costs a fraction of the others buy Budget.

I have been down the route of trying to deal with the others, phone calls unanswered, emails ditto etc so I have been there done that don't BS me I have it first hand.

I know my 1/4 mile times suffer from having a Budget pipe but thats life and I can deal with it. Tomorrow I will be back with a 12 sec timeslip, Budget Pipe with minimal bolt-ons.

Lets get it on.

Jim I understand you are a big Budget supporter, but I would hardly call your setup "minimal bolt-ons" Nitrous, S/C, or Turbo bumps you into the modified bracket at least I ordered a Budget pipe, but they are back ordered for a while from what I know. I was considering a WSP aluminized versus the Budget and actually ordered the Budget pipe. However, after learning the parts aren't even in to make the pipe I cancelled my order and will be going with a WSP pipe. Dallas has spoken to me before and is a great guy. I also believe they really do have the best flex sections, which will help minimize hissing and noise problems.
This is all coming from someone who originally owned a Stillen pipe

Really think this over before you jump. The Canadian T-304 Stainless Steel is very poor quality, it could even be from China or some 3rd world country just ask Dallas.

http://www.budgetexhaust.com/

Call them (905) 681-4579 They are around $160 US shipped for T-304 Stainless Steel

xHypex I know that Nitrous is not a minimal bolt-on because it took me almost 3 hours to install it so its gotta be really difficult. I spent more time installing my PR Intake, now that was hard.
