New Shiftlight and VI indicator light

Daytime

Night

I copied Mishmosh and decided to run 2 Harlan Rpm Switches. The first goes off at 5k and activates 2 yellow LEDs and my VI, while the 2nd Harlan goes off at 6200 and activates the red LED/buzzer. The buzzer really helps to round things out and makes sure you don't shift late. Keeping the LEDs in the vent also made the install look clean and inconspicuous. The LEDs are much brighter when you are sitting in the drivers seat because the viewing angle points right at you. I'll take more pictures when I can get better quality images with a digicam.
Now all I have to do is install my VI.

Looks great! Stealth=good.

It's looking like I'm going to have to set my shiftlight back down to 6000 or 6100. At 6200rpm for the past week, I've been hitting the rev limiter way too much. In first gear with the VI, the car definitely tachs faster to redline than without it... my response time and shifting may be to blame though.

I've had mine set at 6200, and I think I could probably run it at 6300 but then again I don't have my VI yet Or maybe you're just getting old Carleton
