Official word from Nissan about the 5 HP

I talked to Nissan National Consumer Affairs yesterday and received email from them as well. The 5 HP comes from a "larger-capacity center (front) muffler and larger-diameter exhaust pipe, which further reduces back pressure." It is not the rear muffler, as I suspected.

How bigger compare to regular SE do you know???
So in another words, AE is got bigger cat-back than regular SE rite?

How could they increase the hp but retain the same torque number???shouldn't torque be affected since larger diameter of the pipe?

Does anyone know if we can get AE pipe from factory???

that's awesome; stillen has aftermarket pipes for 5th gen.

prolly more than 5 hp from those ones

Yeah, the Stillen or Cattman Y pipe is good for more than 5 HP.
