I would have done a search on 'mileage' but I'm out of town and the computer I'm using doesn't accept cookies which is why (I assume) I don't see a search button on the main screen. Anyway ...

I have been getting 21 MPG with 80% highway miles (OK - mostly at 80 MPH - that's South Florida traffic for you). Is this normal? If it's low, any ideas? The SE is dead stock with about 90K miles and runs quite well - I can't detect anything that may be performance related that is an obvious mileage killer.

thats kinda low, well i don't know if its low but i average about 26 mpg...i guess it can depend on how you drive and you might wanna get your fuel injector cleaned, i've heard that helps

Go out & drive 60 in 5th gear on the freeway for a few hours, *then* check your mileage. That's the only way I can get really good mileage. The key is to take it easy on the accelerator.

 

ya i usta get like 50 mile on about a quarter tank....my mom drove around the car today, and its 50 miles, and still is ABOVE the F .....
