SE = no chrome trim, black side mirrors, grill is body colored, different rims, fog lights, spoiler, no keyless entry pad by the handle, different tail, dual tip exhaust

GXE = opposite of above

The SE will always have more bugs on the front of it due to its driving at MUCH higher speeds

Well you see....the GXE is just a cooler car despite the lack of spoiler/nice rims/body colored grill/fog lights/ and proly more stuff. The lack of bugs on the GXE is expalined by the GXE's navagatinal computer that allows the car to pinpoint a bug in a collision corse with the hood and move appropiatly to one side or the other while avoiding oncoming traffic or other cars in other lanes around it............. yea..... thats it.......

GXE's ROCK! (now if only i had 190 horsies....)

He orginally asked how does he tell the difference by looking just at the body of the car, not the interior too.

My 93 SE has a single tip exhaust no white faced dials and the VG30E engine. Must have been different with the Europe versions.

Europe didn't get the same kind of SE package the US did.

the Euro version SE didn't get the VE engine at all (i think???) all you guys have are the nice looking smoked corner lamps, grill, and the rear bumper with the reflectors or fogs. oh and i think you also got the wipers for the headlights as well. little things like that is what we didn't get over here in the US version. i would love to get the rear EuroSpec bumper with the reflectors/fogs.

Yeah. Got me confused for awhile with everyone saying I should have a VE engine but the manual saying it's a VG .
