think about it! why would someone spend about 200$ on a CAI if what they already had on their car was better. if by this question you are asking if you should get a cold air intake then YES!! get one, i have a place racing and love it. sounds looks and performs great

high end gets the most improvement from a CAI...if anything you may lose some low end torque, but overall its much better than stock.

My understanding is this :

CAI : better low end, because its getting outside engine-bay air...Better for launches /// Suffers up-top < starvs for air where its located

Pop-charger Style : Better high end...air rushing through /// Bad for launches cause its getting hot engine heat = bad cumbustion in the chamber...

I do have Place Racing CAI and I love it...sounds great...kicks in at like 4500RPMS and screams up to readline, Its almost like the air is going in soo fast its like a rattleing sound..hard to explain...the sound did deminish alittle bit after Y-pipe but Im the only one that notices that sh**

Hey man whats with the 19.3@56mph?

Oh and I'd say go with a hybrid for best performance, but the CAI does sound good.
