My stock y-pipe has problems and need to be replaced. What is the price difference btw stock and a Cattman Y-pipe?

I'd say about 10 extra ponies! In addition your car will be louder, in a good way of course!

I went to an auto shop, they showed me the problem at the end of the y-pipe connected to the cat converter. They said they can't get an aftermarket part for it so it would cost 300 bucks. You know where i can get a aftermarket part online?

They will tell you that because exhaust shops like to do custom work which translates to the most $$$ for them. By going aftermarket, they can only make some $ off labor and maybe a little $ if they get the part for you.

There is a lot of different choices in Y-pipes available. To decide, you have to take into account your budget, how long your keeping the car, what climate you live in, what noise your willing to accept, etc.

Personally, I probably would opt for a lesser expensive one from Budget or Warpspeed unless you have the $$$ to get Cattman.

OH, and when you get your Y-pipe, go to a respectable exhaust shop for installation.
