Oops, my bad. Wasn't payin' attention. Look up Stealth Max, he carries FSTB's. Bought some PIAA Xtremes & DC clears from him, excellent service.

 

what gen do you need it for?

 

99 se limited, so i guess the last 4th gen

 

you need to get one of stealth max's 5th gen bars

 

no no no... a 5th gen bar on a 4th gen will create a bump in the hood.

 

even on the 99 se l, cause the generic 4th gens don't fit, i've bought one to prove that

 

i have a 99 SE-L as well. the thing with our cars is that there is something in the way of the brackets. you will have to get rid of that piece of metal for the fstb to fit. i have a fstb on my car to prove it.

 

how did u get rid of the peice of metal, and do u know why that peice is there?

 

you can get rid of it by using a dremmel tool or with anything you prefer. mine was connected to two gold colored pipes which connected to some weird sensor thingy. i got rid of the pipes and connected the sensor with hoses of a shorter length. basically, i just moved that thing somewhere else.

 

yeah i saw that on my car, i don't know if i'm that mechanically inclined to even try that

 

it's all good. when it comes to electronics or anything car related, i know virtually nothing. i'm still learning about these things...

 

stillen strut bars fits 99se-l's no problem

john if you come back home, i can cut that bracket for you if you do not buy a stillen bar
