Acura 3.0 CL

Has anyone had any experiences with the Acura 3.0 CL? My friend has a 98 model and it whooped my ***, Im running a 95 max (modified at the time with eibach pro kits, tokicos, stillen intake). We are both autos and this has been bugging me ever since, I thought those where the same hp as the max.

No, but you can race him for yourself, and then you can have experience and reply back to your own post

He apparently did race the cl, that is why he said it kicked his a$$. You have a thread right now about racing a "juiced" integra, but can't tell anyone how you know it was juiced....I bet it was n/a and just throttled you!

Remember you said once that all i30's are slow? Well, your identical maxima must be slow too!

Check your throttle body, make sure it's clean, amke sure the oil isn't black or thick, empty the tank of any cheap gas if any is in there, check your plugs and then go out and dog his a$$ out. I just raced one the other day along with an accord coupe and i beat the hell out of them. I was starting from a roll at around 50mph. Do a search or check out the last couple of threads i've posted. I asked the same question myself. got some good feedback. They are pretty slow.

Before I bought my car I really wanted a Max. I looked for like six months but couldn't find the right one. I just came accross this I30T and was like WOW, it's like an extra loaded GLE but in a 5-spd. I never knew I30's were the same care. I would say how much I paid but it would not be right. For some reason this guy could not sell this car. I think it was actually because it was a 5spd, most people looking a Infinit's wan the auto. It was also in the dead of winter in Chicago, not a good time to sell a car. Anyway, I paid like 2K under private party value.

Stock for stock, I think the 3.0 CL is the same speed as an auto max, I guess its up to who had the faster r/t and who has less stuff in the trunk

Believe me, those 3.0 cl's are slow as hell. I thought they were fast too, but it's only an illusion.

I've never raced one before, but Motor Trend tested a 15.7 for them, thats about the same speed as an auto max. Of course, many factors come into play, altitude, driver etc. But being a I30 owner, I have faith in the Maxima

Hopefully by this weekend I will have my Stillen Y pipe and muffler on, along with some of the other minor maintanace pieces mentioned (plugs, oil, clean out the air filter, plus a fuel filter probably), then I'll race him again and see whats up.

I must have really hurt your feelings. I know for a fact that the I30(Buick) My step father has a 97 awful take of compare to the Maxima therefore it is a different car. Do a search I did a post on this before. Oh, and as far as juiced intergra's never saw one with M5 capabilities and we did not race. Sorry I hurt your feelings though

I really tried to understand your post. I read it like 5 times. I have no idea what you are tying to say. I can usually make out someones bad grammar, but damn. That is such a gumbled mess.
It did make me laugh harder than I have all day.
Oh yhea, and the post you had on I30's before was more bull**** than this one.

I am glad there are people like you in the world, because someone has to serve me my food at McDonalds!!

"...McDonalds." Ouch The RL has 210HP and the 3.0 CL has 200HP. IMO, the 3.5 RL is a 45k POS!!
