95-96 and 97-99 5spd tranny probs

from the reading ive been doing here it seems that the 97-99 5spd maximas have a lot more bearings problems than the 95-96 does.

does this seem about right?

It's not the bearings that are going bad, it deals the the seals or something like that not being properly shimmed.....

well does it seem to happen more to the 97-99 than the 95-96
