Ok ECU error code 05 04 "Automatic Transmission Control Unit Signal to ECU"

this just popped up unexpectedly.. anyone ever seen this? Maybe hopefully know where I can start to diagnose? thanks

 

By a Chilton's Manual. They tell you how to use the O/D light to diagnose your transmission.

Yeah.... forget how to enact it, however. Something about putting it in first, clicking the OD button x times, putting it in 2nd, blah blah.

It will blink 10 short 10 long I think if all is good. It will blink 1 long 9 short 10 long if problem A is there, 2 long, 8 short, 10 long if problem B, etc, etc.

It's all in the Chilton's Manual.

I ran it right after installing my VB Mod to make sure things were kosher.
