Need help with the brake heatshield

For some reason no matter how many times i try, i cannot get the heatshield to stay in place. When driving it makes this tick tick noise which really really ****es me off. The heatshield is loose and i cant get it to stay no matter how hard i try...apparently the heatshield on the max doesnt appear to have a screw or clip holding it in. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for any help.

thanks,

Thanks for replying.

i know its pressed on, but no matter how hard i press it in, bang it in, or basicly short of bending it...it doesnt stay longer than a couple of days. I was wondering if you had any ideas to keep it on? The grinding sound i believe is the heat shield spinning and rubbing against the caliper/rotor.

It's more of a dust shield than a "heat shield". Just leave it off. You'll get more dust but probably better cooling too...
