the local muffler shop quoted me $55 to install an universal muffler.. which includes welding, 3 hangers and an extention(because universal muffler is shorter than a stock one).. how is that sound to you guys.. by the way i'm located in cali

Sounds good to me. Here in Atlanta all the places quoted me around $90. Thanks to Ivolley we got it done for $100 for 2 of them.

 

That's about right it cost me $50.00 to have my muffler installed

 

how are everyone's muffler sound afterward...
mines making growling sound.. only at low rpms... around 2000rpm
also do you guys feel any difference... performance wise??

I paid $120 for my that's a very good price.

 

A feel a big difference, my muffler has a nice throat kind of like a mustang with a deeper sound. I often get compliments on the way that it sounds.

but my muffler make minimal sounds on high end.. if my car reaches more than 2500 rpm
