most NOS users using wet or dry kits?

just wondering.. there was this guy with a datsun 280zx w/nos, and wired up an extra injector right before the throttle body, that allowed him to run a 125 shot on an otherwise stock engine, when before it got too lean above about 70...

with responses, please list brand, etc. also, anyone using something like a haltech to do engine management to avoid destroying engines under NOSification?

Sounds like he was running a Dry NOS kit and leaned out when using higher HP shots. If he was running an aftermarket Fuel Pump that probably wouldn't happen.

The injector would certainly supply more fuel but would require some creative "TUNING".

Interesting idea. Have to think on it some more.

also seen a supra nonturbo w/ 12 injectors (2 per cylinder) w/ 150 shot, was supposedly a budget project?

You need to use the right terms or nobody will understand you. Injectors are part of the eletronic fuel injection system and they are controoled by the ECU. I think you meant to say nozzles.

it WAS 12 injectors, with a piggybacked ecu, only supplied fuel when EGT got too high, would be a total pita to set up, but i have always preferred the idea of a wet kit over a dry one
