Nitrous..a few questions
Nitrous..a few questions
I installed a basic NOS dry kit on my 03 Maxima. I the small solenoids( there are only 2) one for the nitrous and one for back up. I odnt have the fuel solenoid. Am i good to run up to a 75 shot? And if anyone else knows the 75 pill for this application???? Right now i have a 034 pill and it feels like a 40 shot. Remember that i have the single nozzle plugged in at the bottom of my air filter (hiding it) and its not as powerful as if it was closer to the throttle body. Any suggestions please reply
thanks,
Leo

It is recommended that you place the nozzle 4-6 inches from the TB.
Keep bumping this to the top as a lot of people do not check the nitrous forum that often. Not a lot of people are running it.

Okay, first, how are you raising your fuel pressure? 03 maximas have a returnless fuel system, which means you cannot bump up the fuel pressure the way you can on a return fuel system, which is what NOS dry kits are setup for. If your not bumping up your fuel pressure at all, STOP what you are doing right now before you blow your engine. Not trying to sound rude, but you are looking for trouble if you are doing this. I honestly don't know much about converting the 03 fuel system over, I would recommend contacting SR20DEN about this. As far as shots, the 03 motor can handle a lot more than a 75 shot, but if that what you want to use, its a .038 jet. hope this helps.
Thanks guys,
WoW....I asked around and they told me i dont need to mess with the fuel pressure at all! I sprayed it against a Supercharged Saleen out of 2nd gear and we went even until 80 then we stopped. Then the next day my car started up rough. I checked my spark plugs, and hey were fine. SO THE LAST QUESTION DO I NEED A T- Like for the fuel solenoid or not??? I heard i do and i heard i dont...HELP ME PLEASE B4 I BLOW MY CAR UP~!!!
