How much do you pay for NOS?

I have seen some places that charge an arm and a leg for refilling the bottle. Where do you go, and how much do you pay for refill. I called a place in Fairfax, VA. called Powerhouse, and he said he charges $4.75 per pound. I have seen other places that only charge $3.50 per, so I told him he was high, and I'd call somewhere else. I figured some of you would have a better place to go.

its not supposed to be medical grade IIRC...it requires the sulfer mix....perhaps I only recall hearing that is what is expected to be run in it...i cannot confirm that it wont work...

You can run medical grade. Only diff is that they put sulfur into the automotive nitrous so people wouldnt use it to get high.

Exactly, Sulfur Dioxide is an irritant. Some say medical gradeis a little easier on your engine due to the fact that it does not contain that added oxidizer.

Pretty much off topic, but approximatly how many seconds of spraying will you get out of a 10lb. bottle running a 50 shot dry kit.

I want to say around 2-3 min. Sombody back me up... I never really pay attention at how many sprays it takes for me to use my bottle up.

spraying a 100 shot uses .08lbs per second, assuming all variables are constant, thhat would mean a 50 shot would use .04lbs per second or 2.4lbs per minute. So I would have to say if the bottle pressure could remain constant you are looking at around 4 minutes and 10 seconds.
