Autometer guage install questions

I just recieved my autometer guages and the guage pod should be here 2morrow, i was wondering if anyone can post a quick how to for installing the fuel pressure guage and the a/f guage. Where do i run the sender for the fuel pressure guage, and how do i hook up the a/f guage. Nitrous pressure guage isnt a problem, i just have to get the 20' sender harness because my bottle will be in the trunk, or can i just extend the wires myself?? anyway...i need some help with the install of the fuel pressure guage and the a/f guage. Could someone post pics of where you ran wires through and where you have your senders hooked up.

Sure, I cut of the fuel line right after the fuel filter and right before it enters the fuel rail and put in another one with a hose, then used a tee in the middle of the new line. I can take pictures later today but they wont be good because my camera phone doesnt take best pics.

a/f ratio. Tap into light blue wiring harness at the front of your engine. If you stand at the front of your car looking at the engine bay, it's the harness on your left. I can't remember which wire, but that's because I'm sitting here lazy. And this is for 2k2, 2k3 may be different for you.

Where did you run the wires through the firewall?

any 2k1 5th gens know what wire from the ECU i use to hook up the A/F guage?? Elchino...what does your a/f guage read hooked up there? just curious...mine reads 1 yellow and 1 red, but when i step on it and it gets above about 3200 RPMs it just jumps all the way to rich as far as it will go, like when it isnt getting a signal. anyway....let me know.

It reads one bar red to one or two yellow during the winter. During the summer it usually stays around the bottom of the yellow.

It reads rich above 3200 because you are rich. It's also a charateristic of an a/f gauge that under hard acceleration or high rpms it reads rich. (The information that came with the gauge even says so.)

But now you know why everyone says to get an egt. I use the a/f more like a warning light. If it reads deep into the red or starts acting weird I know somethings up. That and it looks cool.

Yes. If you pry off part of the splashguard in the left front wheel well (pull off the parts closest to the firewall) you'll see where the factory loom is run. The loom goes through a grommet in the firewall pretty much behind the fuse box, then it runs in the wheelwell, and then out near the strut tower.

I also ran my stereo power cable through there.
