Nitrous Discuss dry, wet, and direct port nitrous setups. How many shots can you handle?

Basic Nitrous kit OK, or do I need more?

Nitrous Newbie, please be nice...

I am looking at the NX #20923-10 Stage 1 Import/Universal EFI Wet Kit 35-50-75HP - $519 group deal, but I see that most people with nitrous have additional goodies, which seem to make nitrous more convenient, safe, and functional.

What do you existing nitrous users have in your setups that make it more convenient, safe, and functional?

Could I put the basic kit in, and safely run it while I accumulate the additional accessories I will want (bottle opener, warmer, pressure guage, etc...). It seems that a warmer is almost mandatory, correct???

Thanks, Jason

you need the warmer to keep the n20 pressure optimal, n20 guage, and maybe fuel pressure, colder copper spark plugs

Just get a NX Gen-X2 upgrade kit. It has the gauge (bottle mounted), purge valve/button, heater, and some other crap. And you're right, the heater is pretty much an essential item. I notice a big loss if I spray with a cold bottle (if it even sprays).

FYI, you can only run the heater when the bottle is open. If you can spring for it, just get a remote opener while you're at it. Easier to wire everything up all at once.
