Nitrous Discuss dry, wet, and direct port nitrous setups. How many shots can you handle?

How much can it take ('05)?

I probably won't go through with it due to a lack of funds, but just for kicks, how much could a stock 2005 SE Auto take?

Without doing anything else (colder plugs, fuel pump, timing retard etc) I wouldn't shoot more than 55

I have an 04 6 speed and ive been considering nitrous but traction is a big problem already. I cant even imagine with a 50 shot or even 100 shot. I would like to here more info about putting nitrous on our cars, I know there are a few 5.5 gens with it but I havent seen many 1/4 times.

I'd say 75 is the limit without upgrading a few other things, but 50 is definately safe. If traction is such a problem, just hit the switch at 50MPH.

Traction is a huge issue, I went to the track on street tires and ran terribly. I am still relearning how to drive my 6-speed for the juice at the track. I did a 14.3 @ 102.7 with a 2.6 60ft. I sprayed first on that run, bad idea. I was slowest I have ever been in the 1/8th due to the traction(had to lift twice in 3 of the runs), but picked up great speed in the 2nd half. This was on a NX 75 shot. Stock everything but an injen. I haven't gotten a chance to go back to the track, but with even a mild improvement in 60ft gets me going faster down the track andI have been practicing.

your trap is good for mid to high 13s depending on traction. Are you running a bottle warmer?

With fuel pump and plugs, I think you could easily run a 150-shot and destroy nothing but your front tires.
