getting started? please provide info

i read the stickies, and have been thinking of getting this for some time. but i have questions some of you guys may be able to help me with. i have decided to go with the zex wet system, and was wondering what else i might need. i have a 2004 max se with greddy exhaust and y-pipe on order also an intake. i know this car will handle a 50 shot saftely according to yall but im looking for more say maybe a 75-100 shot. what do you recomend. also the car is a 6speed. this window switch. is this just for automatics. and how much is a bottle refill? any help would be appreciated.

I would run colder plugs. Only thing holding you back from running a 75-100 shot now is the fuel pump and plugs.

Window switch is actually for manuals and not autos.

You need a bigger FP if you plan on going over 60-70 shot, 1 step colder plugs, and regular nitrous accesories.

You should start out small and work your way up. Too many people bite off more than they should to start only to regret it later.

Just curious, but i keep seeing everybody saying you need a bigger pump to do a shot of 75 and up. I'm only on a 75 shot on stock pump and I'm rich all the time. Back on topic: Nitrous prices vary region to region, I'm paying 3.50/lb so after tax and a real empty bottle about $37-40 out the door.

The fuel pump is used initially as precautionary and then as necessary. When you start going over 60-70 shot, the room for error shortens. So usually when you start going into the 75+ range, it's a prudent idea to upgrade the FP to make sure you have enough fuel volume. It's cheap insurance.

It will be better if you use the in-tank 190 Walbro.
