need help

this is my current setup......

96 nissan maxima se
short ram intake
gutted catalyst converter w/ out piping after
act 6 puck clutch with heavy duty pressure plate
walbro gss342 fuel pump
nitrous 125 shot

this is what happend..... i clocked my car at the tracks and when i punch the nitrous button my car feels like its only at 50 shot nitrous.....my 125 shot is a wet.....the jets are 57 on the nitrous and 33 on the fuel....
when i punch on 75 shot dry is pulled harder then my 125 wet....
please help....i dont know whats wrong.....could it be that i should lower my fuel jet because when i ran a 100 shot nitrous, with stock fuel pump it pulled hard but with the fuel pump changed and running bigger shot nitrous my car became slower.....i punch on 3rd gear, fourth gear and fifth gear only....
please help thanks, russell

Do you have a bottle heater? When you ran the 75 or 100 shot shot was it in warm/hot weather and this 125 in cold winter weather. If so your bottle is way below proper pressure for nitrous to work properly it needs to be between 900-1050psi (depends on Manufacturer)?

well the bottle was fresh from the shop from refil......when the bottle was at 75 and a 100 shot it was in my trunk for at least 2 1/2 hours before using it...its normally at 900psi....when i ran the 125 it was feeling like it was too rich....

Let me ask you again, how was the weather during each run and what was the pressure. Cause in warm / hot weather my bottle by itself is at 800+psi but in cold weather its in the 5xx. Maybe it was not upto pressure?

even on a full bottle, in the summer, with only a 75 shot, using a bottle heater made the difference between night and day for me. U gotta have a bottle heater kit, no questions asked to run a shot as big as 100 or 125 - i say you should have one for any shot.

do you have a Fuel pressure gauge and adjustable Fuel pressure regulator

with the walbro your fuel pressure will be higher than stock which will cause you to run rich. it raised my FP to 53psi

i would use this nitrous jet calculator

http://www.robietherobot.com/NitrousJetCalculator.htm

it says with 43psi fuel pressure you should have an .032 jet

but with 53psi you should have an .030 jet

but you need to check your fuel pressure to be sure

It definitely sounds like you need to lean out your jetting. The leaner, the more power. But you need to make sure you don't cross the line to much, or you'll smoke a ring.
