advance timing bad?

Looks like some are getting some good gains by advancing the timing. Just to confirm this is bad for nitrous correct?

Could you do the timing advance if you had colder plugs or is this not the same issue?

Why exactly is it bad? I assume detanation so colder plugs may help?

What heat range plugs are you running?

bkr6es 1 step colder

it gives detenation more time to happen but with a good A/F ratio you proboly wont have a problem

i also think alot of these "advanced timing" "running race gas" precations are not as necisary with a max because of the advanced combustion chamber design lessens detonation alot more that lets say a chevy 350 or ford 302 with stock low efficiency cylinder heads which are more likely to promote detanaiton
