FPR question

I'm going to be installing the NX kit shortly and I am curious as to whether I will need an FPR or not. I currently am running a 300ZTT Fuel Pump from when the S/C was in. Should this be ok as is? If not, part #'s...best places to order an FPR?? I will be using the J&S Safeguard as well.

Never mind...I used Search and learned I shouldn't need an FPR until 75+ shot if I understand it correctly.

Eric, even with a 75+ shot, you don't really need a new FPR, but it is a good idea. The 300zx pump will cause you to run at a higher base FP, which means you will run a little rich under nitrous (well, even more rich, lol). To have greater control, power, and reliabilty, an adjustable FPR is a good idea, IMO, for anything over a 50 shot. You also don't know the condition of your stock FPR. However, this is what I would most recommend with the Holley or any dry kit. I used an AEM universal FPR and it worked great with my NOS kit. With the NX kit, you shouldn't have to worry about higher fuel pressures, so it would be more of a piece of mind thing. I got my emmisions test with the stock FPR and a 255lph pump, and passed with flying colors. Except for WOT, the ECU can adjust for a slight increase in fuel pressure. So overall, if you have the extra money, I'd say do it, but it really isn't required. My $.02
