Few Questions

(Im new to nitrous)

I have a 1996 Maxima auto with 127K miles and Im looking for a wet nitrous kit (NX or ZEX)

will I need to upgrade my fuel pump with a 65 shot? 75 shot?

will it be better for me to run a dry setup?

also...if Im running how much time will be shaven off my 1/4 mile with a 65 or 75 shot of nitrous?

thanks guys!

I recommend you get the ZEX wet kit. It's a great system and simple to install. If you have basic bolt-ons your stock fuel system should be adequate to support the stock settings your nitrous kit come with if only spraying 55 and lower amounts of power. Anything above that it's always recommended you go with an upgraded fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator. It's safer and you'll get the most out of your nitrous system. I went with a Walbro fuel pump and a Sand fuel pressure regulator. A wet kit is much better than a dry kit because you get a much better mixture of fuel & nitrous as opposed to just spraying nitrous into the intake and raising your fuel pressure. If you ever plan on going turbo or supercharged, get a wet kit. Visit www.zex.com and go to their FAQ and you'll find a lot of answers that pertain to nitrous. Your 1/4 ET's all depend on what modifications other than nitrous are equipped on your vehicle. BTW, read this Nitrous forum completely and you'll find all the answers you'll need.
