Everything for N20?? VIAS Question
Alright
So im getting a ZEX Wet N20 System!!!
The ZEX Kit i bought from a .ORG member is comming with Jets for a 75 shot.
But I want to run a 100 hp shot of N20 on my 00 maxima heres the parts that i think i need
1 step colder ngk plugs
255lph inline fuel pump
*debating* kenny bell boost-a-spark
A/F ratio gauge
bottle warmer/ purge
n20 pressure gauge
is there anything else i would need to run a 100 shot
ALSO ** (Maybe Jime has insight on this) on my 2000 maxima i have the VIAS system, is it ok to run nitrous with the power rod in the intake manifold?? because once at 5k RPM the power rod moves/flips so air goes through different runner for more power in the upper RPM Range.. so im wondering with the power rod in the manifold will it mess up the flow of N20/fuel??
i appriciate any insight

Don't bother with the air fuel ratio gauge if its one of those $30 autometer ones... they are worthless. Only way to measure A/F is with a true wideband, which are around $300 and come with a seperate O2 sensor. You also do not need the boost a spark, waste of money. A good 0-100 psi fuel pressure gauge, an EGT gauge, and nitrous pressure would be my bare minimum on gauges, though I'm sure some would disagree, oh well. Keep a close eye on your plugs at all times. Make sure to pull and check them as you dial your system in. Start with the 75 shot and work your way up. There is a learning curve. Jump forward too fast and you increase your risk of needing a new motor. Good luck

mtrai760 gave you all the good info.
Not really sure on the VIAS for the 2k, however on the 2k2 it opens around 4k and I spray right out of the hole so it is spraying when the change takes place. However it depends on the design etc on whether it could cause problems. I just tried it and it works fine. But I wouldn't want to tell you its ok without having tried on that specific intake manifold.
