smaller shot on a direct port setup

i was wondering if there is anyway we can make the nozzle run less nitrous .. i'm trying to run multi stage direct port on a turbo max but the smallest i've seen is 140-150 shot which is too much

Yes, you can run smaller than that. You just need to get new jets for it. What brand kit are you looking at?

The only way you can do it DP is by running a separate fpr and going down to the 10 psi like the carburated cars do and then you can use larger jets. Otherwise you won't be able to get jets that small.

How do you think all the v8 guys run N2O? At low pressure. The spray pattern is created by the nitrous pressure not the fuel pressure.

If you look at most v8 setups they run in the 6-7 psi range. Heck their gauges only read from 0-12 psi. They all use a separate fpr for nitrous. If you look at most of the venders they sell 2 types of nitrous kits, one for EFI and one for carburated which are the low pressure types.

The smallest Jet you can get is .014". Six of those will certainly equal more than 60hp.

The smallest you can go is around 50-60 shot with NOS brand. I forgot what jet size. I believe .014 nitrous and .016 fuel.

You would still need to run another FPR after the Vortech SFMU to bump up the fuel pressure back to stock spec.
