When I was auto, I dynoed w/.042 jet & super duper high bottle pressure:

USIM - 266hp/331tq

MEVI - 275hp/298tq - Although my peak tq number decreased a lot, at the very high end, the MEVI made ~60hp/~60tq more than the USIM.

.042 = 80HP? What year do you have? What other mods, etc.? If I started spraying, I'd probably go the very mininum with a .030, just to be safe.

Just do it, and don't bother with the little 35 shot. Start at 80, and work your way up.

.042 is 80hp jet, but remember I was running super high bottle pressure (dry kit)

I have a 97 w/the basic bolt-ons - CAI/Y/RT Cat/E/UDP

Whats USIM and MEVI sorry i am kinda new at this.

Thinkin of getting a 75 shot Zex Wet Kit, because i get auto and it protects from over boosting.

USIM - non-variable intake manifold
MEVI - variable intake manifold

Since you have a 5th gen, that would probably explain why you're not familiar with these two terms.

Anyway, what exactly do you mean by "overboosting" & how would a 75 shot Zex wet kit protect your auto from it?

Designed to work safely on stock type engines, but is also engineered to perform flawlessly on highly modified turbocharged and supercharged combinations. The ideal nitrous system for any fuel injected vehicle.

• All major components are factory pre-assembled inside the "Nitrous Management Unit". Easy, plug and play, two-hour installation.

• ZEX Nitrous Systems have an advanced, patented feature called "Active Fuel Control". This feature monitors nitrous bottle pressure and adds or subtracts enrichment fuel so the engine never runs too rich, or too lean, when you engage the nitrous system.

• ZEX "Wet" nitrous systems activate at wide-open throttle using advanced electronics that monitor your engine's throttle position sensor. This makes using your nitrous system very easy and reliable.

Would I see better numbers with my 5th gen than he did with his 4th gen?

Maybe a little better numbers, but i really don't know.

I know my 5.5 gen put down 262/359 that was all before the headers and what not. I have no idea what it is now, but i'm sure the tq is a bit lower.
