NX Nitrous guage not working ?

I got a NX Nitrous guage (the one that goes on the bottle) about 1-2 months ago. After a routine re-fill last week I noticed the guage is staying at 0 after I open the tank. I know it was working prior to the re-fill because I remember as I unscrewed the bottle, the pressure was at 300. Also I noticed that the numbers and dashes plate inside of the guage, 1/2 of it seems to be kinda dented in?
What causes this to happen?
