check engine light flickered

i was running my 75 shot of nitrous and today was the first time that the check engine light flickered about 6 times on me. so i turned of the nitrous and drove regular and turned the nitrous back on and when i ran the nitrous again the check engine light flickered again about 6 more times and it doesnt stay lit. it disappears. Any suggestions? I didnt upgrade my fuel pump? but i do have a zex wet kit. and i do have 1 step colder plugs. Any suggestion?
!

you could be misifring.... Just an idea, check your plugs also what are they gapped at... You shouldnt have to upgrade your fuel pump for a 75 shot.

I had this happen to me but the light stayed on and gave 0302 egr, I was going uphill and hit it, 50shot, for about 7 sec, light came on sometime right then or just after, I reset the ecu to see if it would come back and it never has...kinda wierd

I didnt gap them, I have 1 step colder Denso Iridiums and it says you can not gap them because u will break the tip.

Ain't so - mount the plug in a vise with ground strap up. Use a feeler gauge to measure gap. Tap on the ground strap to gently close down the gap to desired setting. Don't tap with the feeler gauge in the gap - pull it out, tap a bit, measure gap. Sneak up on desired gap. W/spray, 035 is good.

This way, you never touch the center iridium electrode, but do adjust the steel ground strap and therefore the spark plug gap.

that usually happens when is missfiring. check ecu for codes. is the easy way to detect. if its lit, it could still be listed on pending codes.

Just checked your pix in your cardomain. It looks like your fogger placement is fine, so that is not an issue. Let me ask you, how long have you been running the n2o?

Did you ever bump your timing down a notch for running a 75 shot?

I have been running nitrous over 6 months now.. Even Longer but i never bumped the timing down because, they said advance timing does not read at WOT. I never got to check the pending codes, but i have ran the nitrous again the next day, and that check engine light never flickered. But maybe tomorow i will be doing more testing..

Yeah, if it were a timing issue, I am sure you would have experienced a cel a lot sooner than that. You should pull the codes, just to be safe.

Nothing wrong w/ your intake, such as leaks, etc.?

yeah. could be a missfire.
A friend had the same issue but randomlhy and not too often. then started to get more and more frequent. it was a bad coil pack. so i'm pretty sure it was a missfire. just check spark plugs to be safe.
