set up question

ok i went through and re did my set up. i wanted to hide the wires, and the lines as well as finally install a purge. we today i put a new bottle in and find out that my purge will not seal at all. i took it off and loaded it up with teflon paste, and tightened back down and still would not seal. that was the first thing to **** me off. so after that i went back to a purgeless set up. well then find out that my nitrous siloniod(know i can't spell) if leaking. is there a way to rebuild it myself?

my other question was that if i can't rebuild it, my buddy has the siloniods from his set up he had on his big block. his was a NOS brand, and my set up is NX. would his work with my nx single fogger?

thanks for any help. i'm really pissed off because i was really looking forward to driving it on spray for the first time in a long time and to see how it ran on the new NA tune.

I dont see why the NOS solenoid wouldnt work...... It should the only difference would be the jets. BTW what did you tune your N/A set up at? A/F wise? Cause a few months ago I tuned too and to be on the safe side I had to still run rich (in the 12s) as oppose to most people tunning there A/F in the 13s cause of the spray. Im scared of tuning for N/A when I occasionaly spray, BTW did you dyno with nitrous? and get a A/F reading on nitrous?

NX Solenoids are guaranteed for life unlike NOS, send it to them and they will rebuild for free.

does it matter that i'm not original buyer of the solenoid? i know that some company's offer lifetime warranty to the original owner only.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter but call their tech line and you will soon find out. You can even send them in every year for a rebuild, I was told that by their racing directoir.
