It wasn't possible for my 3.0, and I tried hard for most of 2006..... An extra tenth is difficult. But good luck...

On street tires, high 12s are definitely possible.

We need to know a little more information about your 13.6 street tire run. What was your 60 foot? Exactly when did you activate the 75 shot?

On street tires, the 150 shot probably can't be activated until after your 1-2 shift. With slicks, you could easily hit it halfway through 1st gear, if not possibly on the launch.

But I really think high 12s are possible even with street tires. But traction will be a HUGE factor! A 150 shot is tough even if you have slicks on most track surfaces.

My best NA run was 13.7 with a 1.9 60 foot on slicks. With only a 50 shot, I ran a 12.9 with a 1.8 60 foot. With the 75 shot, I ran 12.8 with bigger traction issues, but still a 1.8 60 foot. I hope to crack 11s with the 150 shot soon.

Thankyou I saw your slip You have a good 60" compared to mines(2.34) but we have the same trap speed(104) This is one of the reasons I belive I can break into the 12's on a 75 shot.

Info updated.......
Check the vid in my sig.....
I saw my buddy with a similar setup + Dr's run 14.3 N/A
My best was 14.5 N/A on street tires. This leads me to belive I can break into the 12's on a 75 shot as long as I get traction.(DR's)
SO I cant imagine what a 150 shot will do ..........

But you don't have a 3300 lb car on the starting line...... I have the entire car out there. Gutted cars aren't really street stock.

I launched with a 75-shot, at 2800, and often engaged the second 75-shot stage while still in first gear. All good passes were on 23/8.5/15 M&H slicks. The 26/10/16 DRs spun way too much to use with spray.

I do not think spraying a 150shot in 1st gear will be a option at any rpm, even with my DR's at 18psi I can break the tires loose anytime in 1st gear with a 100shot.

I am thinking you will need to launch at like 4000rpms in 1st n/a and spray the 150shot at the top of 2nd, then 3rd and 4th

Like I said, DRs won't hold my car at any higher shot on the strip. I had to use prepped M&H slicks to hold it, and then I did in fact launch with 75-shot and go to the second 75-shot stage while in first gear. Lots of times in 2006.

DRs are for street use only - gotta use real slicks for real hp.

Drag radials will not help your situation. They are only a little better than good street tires. With slicks, you should be able to easily get a 1.8 or 1.9. Even then, a 75 shot alone will be very difficult to achieve 12s. I was able to do a 12.8 at 104 with just a 75 shot, but I also had a 1.80 60 foot. My best NA run is a 13.7 with a 1.9 60 foot. That was on slicks too.

But, if done correctly, high 12s should be possible, but it will definitely take more than a 75 shot. Don't expect to be able to get any kind of traction on street tires or drag radials. Even with slicks, it's very difficult.

Take it one step at a time. Everybody and every car is different. My advice is to get slicks and don't bother with drag radials. Try to get traction with just the 75 shot to start with, then slowly increase the power from there.

I believe he did a 12.1 with the 150 shot in his 95 GXE VQ30 with lots of weight reduction and a high 1.7 60 foot. I think he also did a 12.1 in his 2K2 VQ35 with a 125 shot.

Well I put the DR's on today and did some street testing and it looks like 4-5k rpms is good no nitrous. it's too expensive to practicing launching on the juice and I pretty sure I'll just smoke the tires anyway. maybe with slicks you could spray around a 50shot out the hole with a 5-speed at low rpms maybe around 2-25k, so I am just going to launch N/A and spray 2nd, 3rd and 4th will be hitting the track soon and will post the results

Well I set the DR's to 20psi and praticed some more 4k honda drops and the the car hooks well. I was able to pull on a 5.7 GTO from a dig but messed 2nd gear so I did not get to spray him but it does not matter cause I think I am found a great way to launch my car.

I plan to leave on the motor at 4-5k depending on track prep and just spray a full 100shot in 2nd, 3rd and 4th
