Question about N.O.S

Yes I read all the sticky's (They awnsered a few of my questions)

I have been reading this section for awhile now debating on what to run
Turbo vs N.O.S

Stock 3.0 with basic mod's (cai,cat back)
I reed that a 75 shot is pretty safe, but I was realy looking at a 100 shot kit.
Would I need a e-manage to adjust the timing ?

(I understand its best to adjust the timing 1degree BTC for each 100shot)

I think the first thing you might want to find out is if the stock fuel pump can support a 100hp shot & supply enough fuel for the motor at the same time first. Then worry if you need to pull timing...

will this be a wet or a dry kit? if its a wet kit and only 100 shot no further mods needed. as long as your fuel pump can supply the pressure and flow that you need then your fine. i would say anything more than a 100 shot and you would need to pull timming.

i had a 100 semi wet kit on my lincoln and it took it just fine but i also had a 255 LPH 110PSI pump in the tank so i know i had the fuel their when i needed it.

you need to upgrade your fuel pump for a 100 shot

So just a good fuel pump and the kit
And some colder plugs
No timing change ?
Uhmm
That means no e-manage needed .....Just spray and hold on
I have been looking at the cost vs a turbo
Seems turbo will give a bit more power but you will pay for it
vs 300-400 for a decent wet kit.

Yep N.O.S is starting to sound lots better
