Buddy of mine's tranny just crapped out and instead of paying the $3500+ at the dealership to have them replace/repair it, he's looking for other options. The car is a 2001 2.0 and already has the LSD, so he's hoping to replace it with original equipment.

bad transaxle, and bad bearings i believe. prolly need new axle shafts too.

 

Let me know, I need the guts out of it for my brothers G20. Stock tranny in his car is a bomb waiting to explode. Its packing a DET under the hood with a ton of other mods. He lives in MI so he can come up and pick it up !
