Gaming PC with 2 17" Sony LCDs + Dell Slimline Keyboard/Mouse (Pics Inside)
I am selling my gaming PC for the simple fact that I am not into games as much as I used to be - in fact, I don't play games at all anymore. Not only that, I already have a pretty decent laptop, so this is a luxury I don't need at the moment. I selling this PC along with 2 17" Sony LCDs, slimline Dell USB keyboard and Dell USB mouse for $800, which I personally believe is a great deal for a complete system of this caliber.
Case: The system is encased in a fine Antec Nine Hundred. The Antec Nine Hundred is truly a superior case for many different reasons. I could go on and on about all its features, but you're probably better off going here: http://www.antec.com/usa/productDeta...n=us&id=15900#
Motherboard: The PC's foundation is based on a Gigabyte P35-DS3R. This motherboard has lots of advanced features, such as built-in 8-Channel (7.1) sound, support for new 45nm CPUs, built-in gigabit network card, 4 PCI-Express slots, 8 SATA II connectors, Dual BIOS, great overclocking support and Japanese solid capacitors. For more information, see: http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...me=GA-P35-DS3R
CPU/Processor: Intel E6750 2.66GHz Dual Core w/ 1333MHz FSB and 4MB L2 Cache (G0 Stepping)
CPU/Processor Cooler: Zalman CNPS 9700 copper CPU fan. See; http://www.zalman.co.kr/Eng/product/...ad.asp?idx=164
RAM: 2 GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800 @ 4-4-4-12 1.8v. This RAM is like no other, in the sense that it has built-in LEDs to show load/activity levels.
Video/GPU: NVIDIA XFX 7950GT; PCI-Express x16, 512MB DDR3 VRAM, 256-Bit Bus Width, Fanless Design w/ Dual DVI.
Hard Drives: 2 x 74GB Western Digital Raptors (10,000 RPM) in RAID0/Striping configuration. These drives are very fast by themselves, let alone RAIDed together. Total storage capacity in RAID0 configuration: 138GB.
Optical Drive: Samsung Black Lightscribe CD/DVD Burner (20X DVD+R, 8X DVD+RW, 16X DVD+R DL, 20X DVD-R, 6X DVD-RW, 12X DVD-RAM, 16X DVD-ROM, 48X D-R, 32X CD-RW, 48X CD-ROM, 2MB Cache SATA 20X DVD±R)
Power Supply: Mushkin HP-550 550 Watt modular power supply. The great thing about modular power supplies is that you only use as many power cables as required - and no more.
Operating System: I can load any operating system you'd like, so just let me know what your personal choice is. I currently run a custom built version of XP that absolutely screams with speed.
Truth be told, this is the fastest PC I've ever used and owned, but my current situation calls for cash. $800 takes it, fully customized PC to your liking with the operating system and Microsoft Office version of your choice. Not to sound like a infomercial salesman, but that alone is a $200+ value! The first two pictures below are from when I was putting the system together.
To locals (Tampa, FL): I welcome you to come by and see the PC in person, if you'd like - this way, you'll get a much better idea of just how beautiful this machine is!
Please note that this PC is currently overclocked to 3.4GHz (2 cores) with the RAM running at DDR2-1062 @ 5-5-5-10 timings and is extremely stable. The processor never idles past 31C (72F ambient temperature day/night) and hardly hits the high 40's C under load. This PC tears through daily tasks such as Powerpoint or Excel, but it is more suited for gaming, sound/video editing, rendering, server use, etc.
