I bought this for graphics processing programs (Adobe Suite/Illustrator/Professional, etc.). It is a great for gaming too. The 256 MB dedicated memory ATI Radeon 9700 video card is a gem for a laptop. Great for graphics intensive stuff. I've always used it plugged in with monitor and it apperas the batter now no longer holds a charge. New battery goes for about $50 (google). Now using a Mac laptop so this has to go -$450. Comes with a fresh install of Windows XP with valid registration key and power cord. Will trade for a Mac Mini or a mini laptop (depends on what you got).
