FS/FT: 1997 Subaru Impreza
Looking to get back into a 5.5 6 speed max again, or altima 3.5 manual (se or se-r).. Need something a little newer for the LATCH system on cars for the kid on the way.. Looking to sell outright or will trade plus cash on my end for the right car (listed above).. Looking for 2002+ for trade only.. Thanks.
Great DD for someone with good gas mileage..
1997 Impreza Wagon 198k miles, just passed NH state inspection
Mods are:
07 STi Front and rear seats (very supportive/comfortable)
Front and rear ebay strut bars (new)
kyb gr-2 struts (new)
h&r sport springs (new)
16" wrx alloy wheels
Bridgestone Direzza star spec 205/50r16 (sticky summer tires)
Newer EXEDY organic oem clutch
ACT streetlite flywheel / ARP flywheel bolts
Pioneer AVH-P3200BT5.8" In-Dash Double DIN Multimedia DVD/Divx/MP3/WMA Receiver with Built-in Bluetooth
Boston Acoustics SE65RC 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers in front
JL Audio TR600-CXiEvolution TR Series 6-1/2" 2-way car speakers in the rear
All shifter linkage bushings replaced
6k HID Headlights Hi/Low
Diff and transmission fluids changed 10k ago
Brand new front windshield (had a chip, replaced whole thing)
Couple bad things:
Flywheel has a couple missing teeth so sometimes the car does not start right away when cold (always starts though)
Big dent in driver side fender
Rust on rear wheel wells (common obv for New England car)
May need an oil pan soon (they rust out on these cars): but does not leak
Extras: For the full asking price I will include 2 mint front fenders, an outback sport/rs hood (scoop and vents), and a rare outback sport rear hatch with the 2 rear spoilers, and the stock impreza L seats.
Only reason for selling is I'm having a kid soon and I want something a little newer/safer/quieter for the baby.. I'll set the price at $3,500 to start, and take offers from here..
