how good is act clutchs

how good is act clutchs

I just bought one it says it can handle up to 362lbs torque
does anyone have one. has it lasted for you and is the pedal hard
do you like it any problems

Isn't it a tad late for those questions?

But FIY, most here are fairly happy w/ the ACT units.

I know when I replace my clutch in about 5 years, I'm gonna buy the street clutch kit from ACT...everyone on this board seems to support it alot

I love my ACT clutch, it's grips like none other....never slipped with my NOS. There is a little more pedal pressure, but nothing major as my car is my daily driver.

I know there's a vendor on this forum that carries them.. where is he... lol

Clutches are rated by torque, not horsepower. I doubt there's anyone here now that is putting down more than 362 lb-ft of torque to the wheels.

The 4 and 6 puck can handle 463 lb-ft of torque if needed.

How much for a clutch that can handle the 463 lb-ft? Can you get one for a '95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD?
