Eibach Springs Installed!!! Very Satisfied

Ok I don't have pictures yet as its pouring really bad right now in North Miami Beach. Anyways install was a piece of cake, had my installer do it for me. There were no complications, and while i was at it, had my calipers painted black. Ok so after the springs were installed, i took it for a little test drive to let the springs settle and I have to say I really like the way it looks, but the car does ask for bigger rims now that its dropped. I love my 19's but the max is begging for bigger and maybe a lil wider in the back, even though i had them pushed out 5mm with the H & R Spacers, ok so now that I'm driving it, I'm in shock how much more comfortable the car feels, as if the stock maxima springs were harsher on the road. I mean, i went over a speed bump and barely felt it, I know the ride is a little bit lower but doesn't it usually get a little stiffer when you drop the car. I'm not complaining because i swear this car feels about 60% sweeter on the road, great response from take off and it just feels soo sweet on the road. I'm very impressed with the Eibach springs, and as soon as it stops raining and I can get the car washed or if its not to dirty, i'll take some after pictures to show you. So i give 2 thumbs up to Eibach, but will wait till the rain finishes around here as there is some serious storms and lightning going on right now. Any questions let me know, glad to help anyone out.

I have had good experinces with Eibach, they make quality kits. How much did the labor for install set you back? Did your installer do an alignment?

Don't worry about the car being dirty, or wet(we understand) just get us some pics!

Ok so went outside in the rain and took some pics at the best angles i could. Mind you had the springs installed about 3 hours ago so dont know if they have fully settled in yet. Let me know what ya guys think. Alot of black so kinda of hard to see the exact drop.

Oh btw labor set me back $150 for the springs install. Oh well, i'm sure they could of done it cheaper but they are somewhat friends and I didn't want to haggle a price. And I haven't gotten around to do the alignment yet, don't really think it needs it but I'll do it anyways to save my tires.

Springs are from eibach but i would recommend calling the guys from Stillen or dealing with josh from from stillen on this forum. He has awesome customer service, not sure how much they are listing the springs but I believe they are between $250-$280 for the springs. I bought 1st batch so don't know if I got a deal or not, they might be more. I would email Josh@Stillen. Trust me you won't be dissapointed with the results.

Your Max looks great! I am having Stillen put my Eibachs in this week. Glad to hear it rides nice. Yours looks lower than I thought it would look. Will post on my install later.

Still not seeing them, either with IE or with Chrome. Maybe some setting I've missed. Too bad - the results sound good.

Just got my eibachs installed today, makes the car look awesome and more aggressive... The ride quality is the same nothing changed, and you feel a quite difference in handling

do you have the sport model or Sv model. Because I drive my car everyday and the ride quality change by a huge amount, i mean my ride was a lot softer(smoother) then Stock. I have the Sv Premium. I love the ride quality now. Please post Pics when you can. TBA i figured out why some of you can see the pics, i hosted them using my business site which is an escort service which lands in adult content so if you are trying to preview the pics at work, all you will see is an X or nothing since the link falls under adult content. (sorry)

What are your opinions on having 20s and these eibachs together? You think it will rub? How are the factory shocks taking the springs, bouncier than stock ?

I believe 20's will fit just fine, and the shocks are holding up really well, as if these springs were made for the car. I have to say that eibach hit the nail on the dot. They are perfect.1sik4dsc wait till they settlle in for a couple of days, thats when the perfect drop comes in.

MaxDOut - you said you had the SV premium and now the ride is smoother? I have the premium as well and was looking for better handling but without a harsher ride. How much more did the springs lower your car after they settled?

1sik4drsc - could you post some pics when you have a chance i have the same white Max and want to see how it looks with stock 18s for now.

I think 20's with the car dropped would be perfect, 22's with the car dropped would not...

Oh man I thought I was done with the mods for a while and now I see the MAX dropped and think she looks sick!!!! Now I may have to start lookin at ordering myself a set!!!! I think with my 20" rims and a slight drop would just set it off......But I know I will have to be a little paitient and wait until I am done with training in Alabama and get to San Antonio to do anythng in September :-(

1sik4dsc - That drop is nice, you got 19s right. How would you compare your ride now vs the stock sport suspension?

Not much of a huge difference as for hitting bumps, i did notice a difference in handling and less body roll

Got mine installed Thursday. I noticed an instant improvement in handling and the ride feels about the same which is what I was looking for. It sure looks a lot more aggressive with it lowered. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to improve looks and handling. Will try to get before and after pics posted soon.
