Thanks for the input eveyone. What's camber like with the eibachs for those who've got an alignment already? It's a mild drop so I'm wondering if a camber kit is needed

The tech that did my alignment said that you cant get it quite to stock settings but the camber does come into the green for front and back. He also said that for all front wheel drives that the drivers side will always be a little more out than the passenger side. So no, a camber kit is not needed.

Glenns25 so there wasn't much of a change from stock camber then. Did you notice the springs settle in after a week or so?

Its only been 4 days but I do hear the springs pop as they set when going over steep driveway entrances or when the car twists over uneven surfaces.

Yes on the struts inside the springs. usually you are suppose to trim it for lowering springs

Since they may have not trimmed them does your ride bottom out or is bumpy when driving over bumps or dips ?

There is no need to cut the rubber. They did not cut the rubber with mine and it is also recommended by eibach not to cut the rubber

Here you go my friend, had a chance to let my wife drive the and I drove the Qx56 and tried to do my best to keep the camera steady as I recorded her driving to my left. Hope this gives you a better idea of what the Max Dropped looks like while its cruising. Enjoy

Don't have your speakers up to loud as all you will hear is the wind blasting while I record.
I'll post up some more vids at different angles shortly.

I'll tell you the more and more I look at my car the more and more I'm thinking about doing the same thing just going 10mm all the way around. I think it will be perfect especially in the back as you can see in the video.

Here's another video of the front riding up.

I just had my pro-kit installed. The car rides soooo much better. One of my complaints about the standard suspension was how soft and kindof sloppy it was, especially around corners. The car is now tight and feels much much more sporty. The overall ride quality is the same, not too rough, but everything just seems tighter and more precise. The first thing I noticed was the lack of squat under acceleration. I get pushed BACK into my seat now, rather than feeling like I hit the ejection seat button. Cornering is a dream compared to stock. Overall I am very impressed and glad I pulled the trigger on these things.

Alright, here's some pics. Keep in mind that they were just done yesterday, so the springs havn't completely settled in yet. Looks awesome tho, I HATED those gigantic wheel gaps..

Looks great lowered, can't wait to do mine! How much for the installation and alignment work?
Noticed your grill also. What kind is it? Is it the lighting or is it really that dark? I like the look.

^My cars in the body shop right now, I just got my springs! I can't wait to put them on! My mechanic is charging me $100 for the install. Seems good to me, other shops were charging me like $350 for the install.

Thanks for the info. I was quoted $545 for springs and installation (alignment not included). I thought that was too much! I'll keep looking for a better deal.
