4th gen remote starter info?

Looking for any info anyone with experience can give me on remote starter installs on a 97 in particular in my case. I'm wondering if I should get it or not.

Pros... obvious.

Cons? Any issues caused after install with any other electronics, or engine wise, alarm wise, etc?

Just looking for some facts if its worth doing / if it will possibly cause any issues, etc.

Thanks

remote starters work great.

U can get starters that incorporate keyless entry and security. Viper is one of the best.

Spend a little more & get a remote start with a 2-way remote. It sends a confirmation signal back to the remote to let you know the car started.

I had this on my I30 and it was great because you don't have to stand by a window to see if your parking lights flashed.

Got my dad's 1995 Maxima SE when he passed. It's completely stock and I don't want to F it up.

What Viper did you all use?

I've rebuilt engines, suspensions, drivetrains, etc. but never added an alarm or remote starter.

Is putting a remote starter in fairly easy with the Maxima? I'd like to keep the factory alarm too...
