Where does this wire go (alternator)

Where does this wire go (alternator)

I don't even remember disconnecting this but while installing a new alternator I can't seem to find where it goes

The alternator only has one plug and a large wire with a large "O" connector on the end of it. One plug goes into the alternator.... the other bolts onto the alternator and is covered with a large rubber boot.

The wiring harness that connects the alternator plug is also connected to the plug of the A/C compressor below the alternator. You might want to check that
