I am getting a Polished Aluminum w/Carbon Fiber insert E-Brake handle,to match my Joshua Tree Real Aluminum Dash Kit and my LEVOC Hybrid Chrome w/Carbon Fiber insert Auto Shift **** w/OD button. I need some help/instructions on removing my "old" E-Brake handle,I also know that all E-Brake handles are universal. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank You,
-William-

William,
This is how I did it.

1. Put the e-brake handle down.
2. Unbuckle the cheap plastic boot and slide it down as far as you can.
3. Now, you will see that the e-brake handle assembly is pretty much all metal except for the a plastic handle covering where you hands would pull on.
4. Take a metal punch or a piece of wood and place it at the end of the plastic handle that's facing the rear. Just the plastic part and not the metal part. You will see what I'm talking about when you are looking at it.
5. Use a hammer and drive the plastic piece towards the front of the car.
6. 3-4 good wack should knock the plastic out toward the front of the car. There is nothing holding the plastic handle on. It's pressure fitted, no glue or snaps...

Good luck.
