I am looking for a Digital Camera for around $300. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, what key features should I look for. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Nevin

I just got a canon S100 from beachcamera.com it was a little over $400 but worth every penny. One reason why you should get this camera == its the ONLY digital camera that you can fit in your pocket (or that little tray thing below your maxima's radio)

if that is not a good enough reason:

- 2.1 Megapixels (1600x1200 max res)
- Recharable (everything needed was included) if you buy a cheap camera expect to spend $10 on batteries every week
- takes standard CF cards so you can upgrade the num of pics it can hold
- great software comes with it.

I'm not a salesperson or anything, I'm just really happy with my camera... click on the link in my sig to see some pics I took with it

A good inexpensive digital camera is the Olympus D360 for around $250. I'm not even sure it's sold anymore, but the picture quality on it is awesome. I have the Kodak DC280, which cost around $400. It is simply amazing. Pictures look spectacular, and it's very easy to use. I purchased mine from buy.com

For digital camera reviews, check out CNET.COM's hardware reviews. Or just go directly to computers.cnet.com or computers.com (it's the same site).

Fuji cameras are pretty good for the $$. I forgot what my freind has but it was only like 250. It takes pretty nice pics when the batts are not low.

you should save up another 300 and get a digital camcorder 450x zoom 150 pic storage and video option im looking at the sony tvr120 or trv120 dunno what its is exactly

You're the one of the few guys I've seen not liking the Sonys digicams. Back it up with factual data or personal experience instead of heresay.
