I just got my v2 blower installed today. Everything runs great as expected. I'm still using the stock Bosch BOV. I bought the SS Blitz BOV but couldn't figure how to install it. On the 4thgen's the Blitz BOV just bolts right onto the flange. Does anything have the Blitz SS BOV installed on their 5thgen V2 setup. How did you mount and install it? I really want the pssshhhhh sound

 

i kno someone with that BOV but he couldnt install it when planned to

 

I believe the only way about this is to have a custom welded flange put on the charged air piping.

I just ordered a flange for the blitz bov.. I'm gonna have to have it welded on over the weekend or next week..

Yeap I saw the other one.. That's weird though cuz the aluminum costs like $4 more.. So I definitely can't use that one?

 

Yeah the aluminum one costs more, not sure why, maybe it's harder to work with or the materials are more expensive. I'm not sure about it, but welding aluminum to steel isn't natural and might be hard to make a solid weld. If it's not too late, change the order to a steel flange.

I got it from Summitracing.. I just did a search for Blitz Flange and they came up with 2 results that were actually made for Blitz..

Unnatural indeed. You can't weld steel to aluminum.

Yeap.. I usually goto RJ's for my exhaust work on College Pt. blvd.. Anyone else can recommend a better one to goto that has done work n turbos/sc?
