Should i get a different y pipe
if your budget is mandrel bent it should be fine .. should be the standard 2.5in w/o precats.. a higher flowing exhaust will help you out .. ive heard of some decent gains (7-10hp) from just exhaust on a boosted car .. so definitely look into a catback system for your car.

Unless you're running a 2.87 or smaller pulley, a 3" wouldn't help all that much, also you'll run into many clearance issues... Your y-pipe is fine, if you really want, get a bigger cat and 2.5" b-pipe... If you're on a roll though, might as well throw on a new muffler...
