Help...fuel pump question

Is there a difference between the Walbro GSS342(400-865) which is what I bought & the Walbro GSS342 (400-954).
I am going to be putting in BigDogDon SC that I bought from him this weekend, hopefully and just noticed that there is a little difference in the part number.
I will be running 3.125 pulley on my 2000 Max.
Do I have the right part number? Does it make difference?

One P/N is high pressure one is low pressure I am guessing. You would want the High Press. one.

See I was under the assumption that any GSS342 pump would do fine because it can handle the 255lph spec. I even see 400-846 at High Pressure pumps even being a GSS342. GSS342 (400-843) even lists as being High Pressure. GSS342 (400-954) that is even listed as a High pressure pump. Seems like the latter numbers just represent what model car it fits seemlessly on without modification.

All GSS342 are listed at High Pressure pumps. GSS315 and GSS317 are listed at Regular pressure.

I got the fuel pump installed yesterday and took alittle modifing to fit. But no problem. It fit nice and tight. I had to modify the strainer on the bottom by grinding down the nipple to fit under the clip.

Yeap that is what I had to do as well. Little grinding is it. How does it drive right now? Fine?

Nope just making sure the car drives fine. Normally if it ran wierd the pump might be messed up during the install.
