New Brand SuperC ?

I have not been on the Maxima.org in a while, and now that we cant use the search feature.... I was woundering somthing. Somebody I kind of trust, told me there is a new superC coming out, that's water cooled and gives more HP for each PSI for the 4th gen maxima, is this true? Is it going to be out in a month or two?

Alpine Industries, water cooled supercharger, most likely an Eaton blower they said. The kit is supposed to give faster spooling power and like ~70hp @4-5psi. Around april is when I heard they will start development, but haven't heard anything for a while. The fact that we can't search kills a lot of knowledge people have about these things.

Why? Is a mid 13sec street trim Maxima with a Vortech b;ower not cool enough?

I guess he wants faster spooling power then the Vortech delivers. People want their car to feel fast as well as be fast. For instance, my friends '95 SE 5spd bone stock felt faster then a 2001 Honda S2000 6spd.

But the Max with the Vortech blower by no means feels slow. While it doesn't hit you hard with instant full boost, it keeps building and building, so it pushes you harder and harder into the seat. Pretty cool.
