3.125 pulley questions

Well I posted last night on how my belt jumped a rib and started shredding and since the blower will be coming off I figure might as well swap pulleys now. I want to go down to a 3.125 and was just wondering if there are any precautions I should take or anything I need. The S/C kit came with the 8:1 FMU disk, I have the walbro pump, BOV, and 1 step colder copper NGKs. I know I have to shave the bracket and buy a new belt as well. Anything else that should accompany the pulley? And does anyone have a link to the post on where to shave the bracket? It use to be a sticky but it isnt there anymore
thanks for the help

that's it bro, shave the bracket, get the right sized belt( I reccomend the Goodyear Gatorbacks, I've not had a problem with em)...

Good luck.
